Horse Lovers Take Notice! The Animal Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association's Annual Program this year will be devoted to equine issues.

• Bruce A. Wagman,will cover the proposed Horse Slaughter Act and the BLM round up of Wild Horses.
  
• Dr. Hannah Mueller, Equine Veterinarian, will give tips on how an expert veterinarian works with professionals in the legal field and red flags showing neglect in horses.
  
• Jody Page, Animal Control Officer, will review welfare and cruelty investigation procedures.
  
• Julie I. Fershtman, will discuss the Equine Activity Liabilities Act and issues that are relevant to horse owners and boarding facilities.
  
• Adam Karp will review relevant recent animal law cases.
  
• Elizabeth L. Elliott, will cover professional responsibility issues for attorneys.
  
• James McBride, Attorney, will cover the proper procedure for imposing and removing agister liens.
