Celebrate the 2012 London Olympics in Marbles-style! Join us in
Curiosity Square for a zany twist on a different Olympic event each
day. Whether it?s pool noodle fencing, scooter rowing or paper boat
sailing, become your own Olympic hero and celebrate your
accomplishments in play! Marbles Olympics Track & Field Circuit will
remain on the second floor of the museum during this time.
First Friday at Marbles

Create|Innovate every First Friday night at Marbles as part of
downtown Raleigh?s monthly art celebration. Also enjoy store deals
and a food truck.
Parents? Night at The Movies
First Friday, August 3 | 6:10pm showtime for The Dark Knight Rises
Special extended First Friday Kids Camp at Marbles Kids Museum. Drop
off your kids at camp and make it a movie date night to seeThe Dark
Knight Rises at the Wells Fargo IMAX Theatre at Marbles! First
Friday Kids Camp is open to children in age groups 3-5 and K5-11.

Wiggly Worms

Come for a day of play and meet Muddy from the Carolina Mudcats! Get
his autograph and participate in fitness fun activities. Support the

Join Jammin? Baby, a presenter of Music Together?, for musical fun
and exploration. Appropriate for ages birth to five.
Hockey Fun with the Carolina Hurricanes
Tuesday, August 15| 2-4pm
Pride, Passion, Community ? we?ll have it all, as the Canes bring
action-packed hockey fun to Marbles. Score big at the inflatable
slapshot booth and practice skills and drills with the Hurricanes
staff. Plus, take home a piece of the action with posters and
giveaways.
Kick-off to Kindergarten at Marbles Kids Museum
Saturday, August 18| 9am-5pm
Today is all about kindergarten! Celebrate this major milestone with
playful practice for a successful year. Experience what it?s like to
ride on a school bus, make healthy food choices in a pretend
cafeteria, participate in circle time, radical recess and much more!
Plus, meet experts in education and healthy living. This event is
